The American Women’s Network (AWN) is a welcoming, informal community of international women living in Abu Dhabi. It brings women from diverse backgrounds together to build friendships, share experiences, and support one another through life abroad—whether newly arrived or long-time residents. Through social events and special programs, AWN creates opportunities to connect, feel at home, and engage with the wider community. Founded in 1994 by a group of expatriate women, AWN continues to grow as an inclusive network welcoming women of all nationalities.
