Abu Dhabi is on the northeastern part of the Arabian Gulf / Peninsula. It is the capital, and the second most populous city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It is one of the most diverse and desirable destinations in the world. It is a modern, cosmopolitan city with broad boulevards, tall and often uniquely shaped buildings, beautiful beachfront walkways and abounding in busy malls and shops.
